A minimum inside diameter of 3/8" or outside diameter of 1/4" is never a problem. Even hydraulic sleeve mandrels requiring .0002 TIR is routine. In fact, any work holding fixture for manual operations or high speed automatic clamping on CNC machines is our specialty.
We also alter standard collets to meet specific manufacturing needs on any size or shaped part. Collets requiring extra wear and gripping can be upgraded with tungsten carbide and titanium nitride surface.
